One of Apple’s newest patents has appeared on the Web, suggesting a major change in the functionality of the iPhone. The sketch shows plans to create a wireless smartphone battery charging system.
Apple has very slowly introduced to the smartphone technology solutions that rivals have long offered. It was with front cameras, LTE modem, NFC chip and other components. The same applies to wireless battery charging systems that have been standard in many smartphones for several years. In the meantime, we still can not see them in Apple products.
This may change, however, as a sketch of one of Cupertino’s newest patents appears on the Web, showing a wireless charger.
It is not, however, a typical induction charger that Samsung offers. Instead of standard electromagnetic induction, the device uses radio waves and magnetic resonance. With this solution, the smartphone will not have to be on the charger, but lie next to it, but still will be charged.
